Temporary ERD Change

Dear Customer,

The following excerpt is taken from a Customer Bulletin received from CN:

We are experiencing higher than normal ground counts at Brampton Intermodal Terminal, as a result of increased inbound volume from Port of Montreal & Port of Halifax post strike. This increase has resulted in congestion impacting our production throughput across the terminal.

In order to maintain operational fluidity we will be temporarily adjusting our ERD window for export loads in-gating Brampton Intermodal Terminal. Effective Saturday, Sept 26th, ERD will be changed to 4 Calendar days, including the day of cut off for all export loads destined to the Port of Montreal (POM) and Port of Halifax (POH). We will review the situation over the next week and re-instate the regular ERD once the ground count gets to a normal level.

We also encourage our customers, and trucking community, to leverage weekends and off peak hours to pick up import loads as soon as it arrives to mitigate elevated carter turn times.

We will continue to keep close contact with our customers & stakeholders and provide updates as the situation evolves. We do appreciate your patience as we work through this.

We will continue to provide updates as they become available.

Sincerely,

HENSALL GLOBAL LOGISTICS
