Suspension of Service - Red Sea Region

Dear Customer,


Please note that due to recent heightened security incidents in the Red Sea region many carriers have announced their decision to suspend operations within the region in an effort to protect the safety and ensure the security of vessels and crew members.


Alternatively, many carriers have advised that they will reroute their vessels around the Cape of Good Hope (omitting transit via the Suez Canal).



Please note that the alternative routing will add upwards of 21 – 28 additional days to planned transit times as well as increased freight costs in the form of surcharges as carriers work to recover the additional costs associated with the redirection of cargo.
