Dear Customer,

ONE has issued the following update to the industry:

Due to the ongoing security situation in the Middle East, a number of our services have been disrupted.  Operations are currently subject to multiple constraints and contingency measures, and the duration of these conditions remain uncertain.

As a result, fuel procurement costs have risen significantly across multiple regions and trade lanes, impacting the overall cost of vessel operations and ocean transportation.

To continue providing reliable and sustainable service under these exceptional circumstances, Ocean Network Express (ONE) will implement an Emergency Fuel Surcharge (EFS) with the following structure:

North America to Asia

  • US $ 80/20’ dry container
  • US $ 160/40’ dry container
  • US $ 105/20’ reefer container
  • US $ 210/40’ reefer container

North America to Latin America

  • US $ 160/20’ dry container
  • US $ 320/40’ dry container
  • US $ 210/20’ reefer container
  • US $ 420/40’ reefer container

Effective Date:

  • Non-FMC Regulated Trades: March 24, 2026 CY Receipt
  • FMC Regulated Trades: April 9, 2026
    • (*United States, American Samoa, Puerto Rico, Guam, Saipan, Hawaii)

Subject to any required regulatory approvals and notice periods where applicable, and will remain in effect until further notice.

Please reach out to your Hensall Global representative should you have any questions.

Sincerely,

HENSALL GLOBAL LOGISTICS
