Dear Customer,
MSC has issued the following update to the industry:
In response to the evolving security situation in the Middle East, MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company confirms that the safety and security of our crew, vessels, and cargo remain our highest priority.
As a precautionary measure, MSC has suspended all export bookings from Canada to the Middle East region with immediate effect and until further notice.
Commodity and Cargo Type: All commodities and equipment type
This suspension applies to cargo destined for the following impacted countries and ports of discharge (PODs):
MSC continues to closely monitor the situation in coordination with the relevant authorities. Export bookings from Canada to the above destinations will resume once the security situation stabilizes and safe operations can be ensured.
