Evergreen has issued the following update to the industry:
As a result of the evolving situation impacting vessel operations and regional logistics between North America and the Middle East, the following booking measures are being implemented with immediate effect for new bookings from North America to the Middle East:
Dry Cargo and Reefer/ Special Equipment: Effective immediately, all new bookings are suspended until further notice. Previously confirmed bookings with no cargo activity have been canceled.
Customers are encouraged to change to alternative destinations if possible. Please be advised that shipment delays are expected. Under certain circumstances, containers may be discharged at alternative ports if required.
