CMA – CGM has issued the following update to the industry:

In a continued effort to provide reliable and efficient service, CMA CGM Group wishes to inform its customers of the following Rate Restoration Initiative (RRI) from Canada effective March 8th, 2026:

From: All Canadian ports and Inland points via those ports.
To: All Middle East, Gulf and Red Sea ports of discharge & IPI via said ports
Cargo: All types
Amount: USD 500 per 20’ / USD 1 000 per 40’ / USD 1 000 per 45’
Effective Date: MAR 8th, 2026

All applicable rates, surcharges, and rules, including, where applicable, mandatory pricing elements under EU commitments can be located in the applicable Governing Tariffs.
