Dear Customer,
Please find below excerpt from an advisory issued to the industry by CP Rail:
“Due to the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) strike in Vancouver, effective 00:01 Friday July 7, 2023, CPKC Vaughan Terminal will not accept Export Loads destined to Port of Vancouver - Vanterm, Centerm, Delta Port & Fraser Surrey Dock, and Non Billed empties.
Above is in addition to the below noted gate restrictions that went into effect at 00:01 July 6, 2023
Pre billed empties destined to Port of Vancouver - Vanterm, Centerm, Delta Port & Fraser Surrey Dock
CPKC will continue to provide updates should conditions change with regards to gate restriction impacts.”
