Canadian Supply Chain Disruption ContinuesTuesday, November 30, 2021

Dear Customer,
Rail and road operations servicing the Port of Vancouver remain severely impacted by the flooding in British Columbia.
Recent and continued rainfall are halting efforts being made by CN Rail to reopen its lines.
CP Rail is operating but at a significantly constricted capacity. As such, the CP intermodal network is highly congested, and CP is restricting access for export loads to both Vancouver and Montreal at various terminals including Vaughan.
Multiple ships are anchored offshore Vancouver waiting to be worked. Accordingly, vessel schedules are in disarray and change without notice.
Congestion remains an issue at the Port of Montreal due to labour and rail service shortages.
All of these factors are contributing to a severely disrupted supply chain in Canada. While we continue to be focused on providing our customers with the best possible service, these extraordinary issues are out of our control.
Under the circumstances, additional costs can be expected, and regrettably will be assessed to the account of the cargo.
Please feel free to reach out to your Hensall Global representative should you wish to discuss further or should you have any specific questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
HENSALL GLOBAL LOGISTICS |
