CP Gate Restriction

Dear Customer,

Please find advisory to the industry regarding the implementation of continued gate restrictions at select inland receiving terminals across Canada for Montreal bound cargo.

With extremely high export counts at VGN (currently 500 containers / ~14000’ worth of footage), combined with very high car flow into POM (42000’ as of today morning, at or pointed to Racine/Cast/Termont), the below restrictions / gate closures will go into effect:

Effective 00:01 / Sunday, 12 February (local times)
CP Terminals where gates will be closed for “all” POM traffic, including for export loads: VGN / REG / WPG

Unfortunately, the rail provider is not willing to provide timeline on restriction.

We continue to monitor the situation and will provide further update as new information is received.
