Dear Customer,

Further to our advisory of February 7, 2020, additional clarification has been provided by the industry:

[Quote]

There is no strike action planned for the Port of Montreal, union labour took a vote on a “strike mandate” as the last one had expired.

This is part of the negotiating strategy by union labour. The case before the labour courts is still awaiting a decision (and possible appeal), re the labour being declared “essential services”.

Any strike action now would be deemed illegal and ended quickly.

Both sides continue to negotiate but are in reality awaiting the outcome of the court case.

We are continuing to monitor the situation and will provide further updates as they are made available.

Sincerely,

HENSALL GLOBAL LOGISTICS
